Η Δρ. Γεωργία Δέδε είναι Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Πληροφορικής και Τηλεματικής του Χαροκοπείου Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, στο γνωστικό αντικείμενο της Αξιολόγησης Συστημάτων και Υπηρεσιών. Είναι επίσης Εμπειρογνώμονας Αξιολογήτρια στην Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή και Υπεύθυνη Έργων Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας στη Netcompany. Διαθέτει μεγάλη εμπειρία στην έρευνα και ανάπτυξη ευρωπαϊκών και εθνικών έργων. Είναι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Πληροφορικής και Τηλεπικοινωνιών του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Το 2007 έλαβε μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα στη Διοίκηση και Οικονομία Τηλεπικοινωνιακών Δικτύων από το πρόγραμμα μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών του ίδιου τμήματος. Το 2015 έλαβε το διδακτορικό της δίπλωμα στις μεθόδους λήψης αποφάσεων και στη μελέτη της αβεβαιότητας για την ανάπτυξη ενός οδικού χάρτη που εφαρμόζεται σε οικιακά δίκτυα νέας γενιάς (επιβλέπων: Καθηγητής Θωμάς Σφηκόπουλος του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών). Μεταξύ 2004 και 2010 ήταν ερευνητική συνεργάτιδα στο Εργαστήριο Οπτικών Επικοινωνιών του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, ενώ από το 2007 εργάζεται ως ερευνήτρια στο Τμήμα Πληροφορικής και Τηλεματικής του Χαροκοπείου Πανεπιστημίου και ως συμβασιούχος διδάσκουσα σε προπτυχιακές και μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές. Μεταξύ 2012 και 2015 είχε επίσης ερευνητική υποτροφία στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών. Έχει διατελέσει επιστημονική συνεργάτιδα και υπεύθυνη έργου σε διάφορα ευρωπαϊκά και εθνικά ερευνητικά προγράμματα. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν την αξιολόγηση και επικύρωση ηλεκτρονικών συστημάτων και υπηρεσιών, τη λήψη αποφάσεων και την επιχειρησιακή έρευνα, την ανάπτυξη οδικών χαρτών και την τεχνοοικονομική ανάλυση, την εκτίμηση κινδύνου, την ανάλυση θεμάτων κυβερνοασφάλειας, την ανάλυση απαιτήσεων με εφαρμογή στην πληροφορική, τις εφαρμογές και υπηρεσίες IoT, καθώς και τις τηλεπικοινωνίες και τις ασύρματες οπτικές επικοινωνίες. Έχει δημοσιεύσει εργασίες σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά, βιβλία και συνέδρια και είναι επίσης κριτής σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά.
