Course Content
Management of cloud resources, infrastructures and applications, performance analysis, quality of service, fault tolerance, load balancing and controlling, edge computing, lighweight versions of cloud toolkits for the edge, cloud/edge tradeoffs, cloud simulators, hybrid systems
Learning Outcomes
Through the course completion, students are expected to have a complete knowledge of the problems and techniques for addressing quality of service issues in clouds, to be aware of the dynamic hybrid systems involving combinations of cloud/edge, as well as the necessary tools to simulate the behavior in clouds.
