We are pleased to announce that an honorary award at the DEI BITE Awards was presented to former Rector of Harokopio University, Professor Mara Nikolaidou. Professor Nikolaidou is the only female Rector in a Greek university coming from the field of Computer Science. She served in this position for eight consecutive years and is also a representative of Greek Universities in the European University Association. Her role was fundamental in the establishment and operation of the Department of Informatics at Harokopio University.
